Risk Management is Good Management ***Insurance Program members log in to download the survey and reference guides*** “Risk Management is Good Management” is a self-paced plan for continued improvement. This service approach is based on employee safety, the well-being of the public and protection of municipal property. Top Level Management of Pool and Fund members will be provided with tools to enable their management team to conduct its own self-assessment of focused risk areas. Loss Control will provide members with related resource materials and guidance on the implementation process. In addition, Loss Control will monitor the use of these tools. A baseline self-assessment will be established and used for comparison during future on-site loss control visits. These tools will establish benchmarks to measure progress with the implementation of a member’s risk management efforts.
