What types of special events does the Pool cover?

The Pool's coverage document covers all types of special events. There is no exclusion in the Pool's coverage document for "special events". However, a municipal special event might include an activity that is affected by an exclusion. An example is a municipal carnival. The Pool's coverage document excludes liability resulting from the operation of mechanical amusement rides, which would leave a severe loss exposure uninsured unless appropriate coverage was placed separately.
