Many contracted inspectors/assessors do not maintain professional liability coverage. Are they covered under the Pool coverage document?

If they are appointed officials of the member, then they are covered. Otherwise, contract laborers are not intended to be within the definition of Member or Insured. Therefore, if it is the intent of the member to include a contracted inspector or assessor as an insured, the individual must be appointed.
