Welcome to the MML Liability and Property Pool !

We provide insurance and risk management services to hundreds of Michigan cities, villages, townships and other governmental agencies. The Michigan Municipal League is our sponsor and administrator. Meadowbrook Insurance Group provides many of our membership services.

Our mission is to be a long-term, stable, cost-effective risk management alternative for members and associate members of the Michigan Municipal League.

Our web site is designed with three goals in mind:

1. To give Pool members an unparalleled library of municipal risk management resources and self-help tools that is readily accessible and simple to navigate.

2. To market the Pool to non-members. We want non-members to know that they're missing something special by being insured elsewhere. It is for this reason that unlike many other insurance pools, we leave a lot of good, solid risk management information available to non-members on this site.

3. To share information with our colleagues in municipal risk management. We have a responsibility to share our knowledge, invite others to share their knowledge with us, and mutually work towards improving the respect of our members and clients for our profession.
